The St. Nicolas Party Tradition Lives On - December 3 at 4 pm
On Saturday December 3 St. George's will continue a long standing and much beloved tradition of celebrating St. Nicolas Day with a party at St. George's.  After having to move outside the past two years, we are returning to an inside party in Miller Hall starting at 4 pm.  Kids, parents, and adults of all ages are invited to come share fellowship and fun with craft activities, food, and a visit by Bishop St. Nicolas!  We are looking for volunteers to bring food (or order the pizza), beverages, help with decorating, etc. so please sign up if you can help out. Let us know if you plan to attend so we can have the right amount of food.

Piano/Violin Recital Today November 27 at 3pm
All are welcome today Sunday November 27th at 3 pm to a violin and piano recital performed by Yuhee Kim and St. George’s music director Ria Yang in the Sanctuary. Come enjoy some Faure, Beethoven, Biber and Saint-Saens!

Advent Devotional Opportunity - Advent in Plain Sight
This Advent we are using the devotional Advent in Plain Sight:  A Devotion in Ten Objects by Jill Duffield.  This follows up on our successful Lenten devotional program Lent in Plain Sight by the same author and is an invitation to consider everyday objects and how they point to the divine in this season of preparation for the birth of Christ.  Books are available for $12 and you can pick one up today - see Connie+ if you'd like one.  On Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:15 pm from November 29 through January 3 we will be gathering weekly to reflect together on objects like gates, tears, belts, trees and more.  If you can't join the weekly gathering you are still welcome to buy a book and use it this Advent season.

Advent Wreath Making Is November 27!
Sunday November 27, we will celebrate the first Sunday in Advent, and you are invited to make an Advent wreath in Miller Hall following the 10:00 am service that day.  There will be rings and candle sets available from the Church for a small donation or you can bring your own ring from home.  If you have greens in your yard you can bring in – please do! There will also be greens and other materials available.  So join us in preparing for Jesus’ birth by participating in this Advent tradition.
