THIS SATURDAY - Sandwich Making for Warm Nights March 27
The Justice League is starting up a new season of making lunches for guests of Warm Nights. We will begin on this Saturday, March 27th, and continue through the month of April.  Once again we will meet on Saturday mornings from 9:30 am until 11:00 am to make 135 sandwiches.  We will need 10 volunteers to work, wearing masks and practicing social distancing. We will also need donations of water bottles to go into the lunch bags.  Here is the sign up genius link for Warm Nights Lunches so that you can volunteer. There are still some slots available for this Saturday! We look forward to seeing many friendly faces back at St. George’s working for others.

The toiletries benefit Gaywood Elementary School. Gaywood has especially asked for sanitary pads, body lotion, tissues and wash cloths; also needed are shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, powder, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, mouthwash, combs and brushes.
The St. George’s Justice League is organizing the food drive to benefit the Bowie Food Pantry.
Particularly needed Items are: Soups, Beans, Canned vegetables,  Beefaroni,  Peanut butter,  Canned meats, Canned fish, Rice, Instant mashed potatoes,  Granola bars, Cereal,  Condiments, Pasta. You can see more details regarding these collections on the parish email. Donations can be dropped off in the narthex Sunday morning or in the parking lot from 1-2pm. Please be sure that your toiletries donations are bagged separately from your food  pantry donations. Thank you for your generous support!

Easter Donations
There are two ways to support St. George’s this Easter Season. One is to consider making a donation for the Easter flowers. You can thank God for an event or person in your life, or remember someone who has passed away. Please clearly note if names are for memorials and/or thanksgivings. And please let us know your donation is specifically for Easter flowers. All names will be listed in the Easter Bulletin.  You may give the names of the persons you wish to remember, either by note, email at [email protected] or phone 301-262-3285. To be included in the Easter Bulletin, names must be submitted by Sunday, March 28.
Another way is to make a special donation to St. George’s, we would be most grateful. If you send a check to our PO Box, please write “Easter” in the memo line.  If you send a contribution via Zelle, please put "Easter" in the comment box. If you use our online donation page, enter your donation amount in the box next to "Special Holy Day Donation" and write "Easter" in the text box. Thank you!
