Warm Nights Sandwich making
We are in need of volunteers again to make sandwiches for the guests of the Warm Nights program. Our next day is Saturday, November 12th. There is also an opportunity to work on Saturday, December 10th, starting at 9 am. It only takes about an hour to pack the 100 lunches we provide. You can sign up HERE. Thanks for helping!

Q&A with Haiti Micah Project on Sunday Nov 20
On Sunday November 20th at 11:30AM, following the 10AM service, we will have a special live virtual Q&A with a presenter from the Haiti Micah Project, one of the two charitable organizations we supported with our 2022 Lenten offerings. HMP's mission is to feed and educate children in Mirabalai, Haiti, and with the ongoing and worsening stability in the country, their work is becoming more difficult and more desperately needed than ever before. Please join us in the Sanctuary or on Zoom to give HMP your consideration, your questions, and find out how we can better support their life-saving work.

Bowie Food Pantry
We will be doing the monthly collection for the Bowie Food Pantry next Sunday, November 13th. The items they need the most at this time are canned meats, low sugar cereals, and soups.
Thank you again for being such faithful supporters of the Bowie Food Pantry.

Jacket & Warm Clothing Drive
Our Warm Clothing Drive for the International Students Admission & Enrollment Office (ISAEO) of the Prince George’s County School System will continue for two more weeks. We are collecting new or gently used coats and jackets (pre-school sizes through adult medium), as well as hats, scarves, and gloves for newly arrived international PGCPS students and their families. Many of these families are coming from Central America and do not have clothing appropriate for Maryland winters. Please be sure any used items are clean and in good condition. Donations should be placed in the bin in the narthex. For those who prefer, we are also collecting $25 Target gift cards to donate to the families; see Ed Neuschler to buy, and give the cards directly to Donna or Randy Haselton. Please contact Donna at dlhaselton@msn.com if you have any questions. Thank you for your generosity!
