Annual Meeting to be held February 6 at 11:30 am
The Annual Meeting of St. George’s Church, Glenn Dale Parish will take place on Sunday, February 6 at
11:30 am.  Those who would like to participate can attend in person or virtually; there will be voting options for both. At the meeting we will do the business of the church, elect vestry members and a parish delegate, say thank you to our outgoing leaders, and hear about the state of the parish.  All are encouraged to attend the meeting and participate in our church’s democratic process.

Justice League meets February 3, 2022 at 7:15pm
Looking for a way to connect with fellow St. Georgians while also working for good? Consider joining us at the monthly Justice League meeting. Find out about  plans for our Gaywood School ministry, the monthly lunch ministry for Warm Nights, and other outreach and social justice activities. The best part? We meet on Zoom and it’s a great chance to check in with one another. If you'd like to attend, contact Mary Frances Bruce maryfbruce@yahoo.com and you’ll be added to the email for Zoom links and updates.

Virtual Hospitality
You are invited to join the St. George’s community for “virtual coffee hour” starting up again on Sunday morning, February 13th at approximately 11:30 am.  It will be held every other Sunday until further notice.  That means that through the end of March the additional dates will be: February 27th, and March 13th and 27th.  To join the virtual hospitality, you may do 1 of 2 things – just stay on the 10 am service Virtual Zoom Watch Party or, log into that same link (found on the church’s web site at the “Visit Us” page) around 11:30 am on the Sunday mornings that are noted above.

Bowie Food Pantry Collection Next Week
Our monthly collection for the Bowie Food Pantry will take place next Sunday, January 23rd. We have been told that the items most needed at this time are beef stew, rice products, and granola bars. Thank you for your continued generosity in making food available for those in our community.

St. George’s Sandwich Ministry
Thank you to everyone who helped to make sandwiches for the guests of Warm Nights over the past months.  At this point, the administration at Warm Nights is reviewing their needs, and has indicated that they do not need us to make lunches in January and February. We anticipate starting up again in March, and will be sending out announcements and updating the sign up genius in mid-February. Thank you again, and stay tuned for the next opportunity
