Camping Trip Next Weekend!
St George's Camping Trip: July 21-23 at Greenbelt National Park! Featuring an outdoor service at 10:00 am on Sunday July 23. If you reserved a site, you should have received an email from Roy Peterson with details on your site assignment as well as further details on the weekend.  The 8 am service will be held in the sanctuary and the 10 am service will be in the middle of our group sites in the B loop.  There is parking for 3 cars at each site so come to the campground and look for the signs and Members of St. George’s.  In case of inclement weather, the 10 am service will be held in the Sanctuary.

Warm Nights Sandwich Making Help Needed
St. George’s continues to make 100 lunches each month for the guests in Warm Nights. There are opportunities to help Saturday August 12th at 9:00 am. You can sign up here.  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0A4AAEA62BA46-warm1

Gaywood Uniform Drive
As some of you know, each summer we've traditionally held a school supplies drive for Gaywood Elementary School, a public school located about two miles from St. George’s. However, this year we're doing something different!  Gaywood has a mandatory uniform policy for all students, but this unfortunately presents a financial challenge for some Gaywood families. In order to assist these families, we are holding a uniform drive from now until August 20. The Gaywood uniform is very simple: light blue, white or navy polo shirts (short or long sleeves) and navy blue bottoms (pants or shorts, skirts, skorts, jumpers). Gaywood student range from pre-K through 5th grade, so a wide variety of sizes are needed. These items are available in store and/or online at many retailers including Target, The Children's Place, Amazon, Walmart, Kohls's, Macy's and JCPenney. Donations should be dropped off at St George's by Sunday August 20 so we can deliver them to Gaywood before school starts on August 28; you can also contact Donna Haselton at [email protected] to make other arrangements or if you have questions. Thank you for supporting the students and families of Gaywood!

Come Sing in the Choir!
Do love singing in church? Are you curious how the choir prepares music for each Sunday? Have you considered singing with the choir? Now is a great opportunity to try us out! We are seeking singers for the summer. This is a low-level commitment to join us on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm to learn the hymns with a little harmony thrown in. We are especially in need of all voice parts for July 30 and September 9 when we are doing special anthems. You can speak with any choir member or interim music director Keng Siong Sim for more information - talk to him on Sundays after church or email him at [email protected].
