Sunday Services In Person and Online
Starting in September, we are holding services in person as well as online.  Here is what you need to know: There is a FAQ document that has useful information regarding what to expect at in person worship.  For those who intend to come to in person services, you must return beforehand or bring with you when you come a signed copy of the Worship Covenant as required by the Diocese. This needs to be done only for the first in person service you attend.
-The 8:00 service of Holy Communion will be held at St. George’s and preregistration is required, as is signing and returning the Worship Covenant from the Diocese.
-The 10:00 service of Holy Communion will be held at St. George’s and preregistration is required, as is signing and returning the Worship Covenant from the Diocese. This service will be livestreamed via Zoom starting at 9:45 am. If you would like to link directly to the livestream via the church Youtube channel, that link can also be found on the announcement page of the website.
-Hospitality: We will continue with hospitality hour via Zoom on Sunday mornings starting in September.  It will begin at 11:30 am.  Here’s the link.

St. George’s needs help for Warm Nights sandwich making throughout September and October
Come help make lunches for the homeless guests of the Warm Nights program from 9:30 – 10:30 on Saturday mornings in Miller Hall. Social distancing practices are in place, masks are required, and family/ households can share a work space.  Two Justice League members will be working along with the volunteers. The Justice League and St. George’s needs at least 8 people to sign up to make lunches and 4 people to sign up to donate bottled water. The COVID virus limits our numbers so you must sign up ahead of time. Saturday 9/26 still needs volunteers and water donations as do October dates! Please click here and sign up. Thank you! Contact Peggy Alexander 301-602-6236 or [email protected] with any questions.

Two-Part Series "Prayer in a Time of Pandemic" Starts September 29
Connie+ is offering a two-part series on prayer in a time of pandemic on Tuesday, September 29 and Tuesday, October 6.  It will be via Zoom from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.  Session 1 is entitled "How Do I Pray When I Am This Angry/Discouraged/Tired of Being Resilient?" and Session 2 is entitled "Praying Outside the Box." If you are interested in participating, please email her at [email protected]
