Is St. Georges HOlding In person services?
Yes! Services are at 8:00 and 10:00 am and there are no attendance restrictions. All are welcome to attend either service.

What SHould I do before attending service In-Person?
As of June 20, 2021, preregistration is no longer required to attend a worship service in person.
What can I expect when I arrive at church?
You can expect to be welcomed by a church leader and receive a paper service booklet, which can be recycled after the service. Since Covid we don’t use Prayer Books or hymnals but put the entire service in a booklet each week.

  • As of March 2022 masks are still required for worship at St. George’s. You can sit anywhere you like in the sanctuary and the choir and congregation can sing at the 10:00 am service.
  • Offering baskets are not passed; they are positioned by the two open doors to the narthex for you to leave your offering as you choose. Electronic giving is encouraged.
  • Holy Communion is offered in a safe way as prescribed by our bishop. Currently bread and wine are both served, with the wine in individual, Covid-safe cups.
  • You will be guided in a predetermined way by the ushers as you present yourself for and leave after Communion.
  • All are welcome to stay and socialize in the church as you feel comfortable after the service, including hospitality after the 10 AM service.
What is being done to keep me safe?
  • The safety of staff and parishioners is a priority and everyone’s responsibility.
  • As of January 2023, N95 or KN95 masks are strongly recommended but not required. Masks are provided should you not have one.
  • Arrows have been placed on the floor to indicate safe flow of traffic.
  • Hand sanitizer is widely available.
  • The bread tray with pre-consecrated Communion wafers has a lid.  Communion cups are prefilled and on a tray with a lid.
  • The building is cleaned regularly according to CDC and state guidelines.
What are my options for worship if I decide not to attend in person?
  • The 10:00 service is live streamed and available via Zoom, where there will be a host to offer hospitality and welcome, or you may view the service directly on our parish YouTube channel.
  • There are also services of Evening Prayer on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm and Compline on Wednesdays at 8 pm, all available via Zoom.
