Food Drive coming on December 5th!
The Justice League is sponsoring a Food Drive on Saturday, December 5 to benefit the Bowie Food Pantry.  This is a continuing effort to assist the many people who are greatly in need of food at this time. You may bring your donations to St. George’s on Saturday December 5th from 10AM until 12PM, and members of the Justice League will be there to receive them. The donations will be delivered to the Bowie Food Pantry on the following Monday.
The Bowie Food Pantry is open to all residents of Prince George’s County, not just people within the city of Bowie. Please remember they do not accept food donations that are expired.
Needed Items:
Soups, Beans, Canned vegetables,  Beefaroni,  Peanut butter,  Canned meats, Canned fish, Rice, Instant mashed potatoes,  Granola bars, Cereal,  Condiments, Pasta,
Fresh produce - only these fruits and vegetables please: Apples, oranges, peppers, squash, potatoes, onions
If you would like more info on the Food Pantry, please go to  Bowiefoodpantry.org
We at the Justice League are hoping that this could be an ongoing monthly activity, but it will depend on the response we receive in December. Thank you for your continued support. Any questions, please contact Peggy Alexander at peggyalexander28@gmail.com
