Service for Hilda Nichol April 30
A memorial service for Hilda Nichol will be held on Saturday, April 30 at 11:00 am, followed by a reception in Miller Hall.

It's not Too Late to Make your Donation now the Lenten Outreach
During Lent St. George's invites all to participate in our Lenten Outreach Offering and to set aside fifty cents or a dollar a day during forty days of Lent and at Easter we donate collectively to organizations chosen by St. George's Justice League. This year we give to two organizations, the Haiti Micah Project and Books to Prisoners.  It is not too late to make a donation!  You can give electronically on the giving link on St. George's website or by any other means; just mark your donation for Lenten Outreach.  We are hoping to make our gift to the organizations in May during Easter season. You can go directly to our donation page by clicking here.  https://www.stgeorgesglenndale.org/donate.html

Sign Up to Make Lunches for the Warm Nights Guests
St. George's is back in the sandwich business!  Starting in March St. George's is responsible for making 100 lunches on the second Saturday of each month through 2022.  Each lunch includes a sandwich, an apple, a bag of chips and a bottle of water. We are always looking for people to help. We start at 9:00 am and usually finish by 10.  We also need people to donate water each month. You may sign up to help on the sign up genius by clicking here. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0A4AAEA62BA46-warm1  Many thanks to the youth of the parish and the Confirmation class who are making the lunches in March.  We are looking for volunteers for May 14.
Celebrate St. George's Day with a Potluck next Sunday April 24!
On Sunday April 24 we will celebrate the feast day of St. George by gathering after the 10:00 service in Miller Hall for a potluck meal.  Everyone is invited to bring a dish or snack to share and join in this opportunity to share fellowship and celebrate the St. George's community.
