In-Person Hospitality is Back!
In-person Hospitality started up again last week. It will be held at the church after the 10 a.m. service.  We will meet outside and it will feature soft drinks, juices and individual snacks. See Ames Perry if you are interested in helping with hospitality. This will occur weather permitting. We look forward to getting together in-person!

Virtual Hospitality is On Hold
Virtual hospitality, which is held after the zoom service watch party finishes, will be suspended for the month of August. Zoom Hospitality may resume in September if a need for Zoom hospitality is requested by enough parishioners.

SAVE THE DATE: Worship Service at the National Cathedral on August 29, 2021 at 11:15 AM
Attend in-person or join online. Here is the link with some information. Holy Eucharist - Washington National Cathedral. Details on how St George's will participate coming soon!

Interested in a St. George’s Bowie Baysox Outing?
St. George’s is planning an outing to a Baysox game on Saturday September 18 at 6:35 pm with FIREWORKS. If we can get 20 people, the Box Seat price is $11 each, $5 off regular admission. Contact Tom Beal as soon as possible at  THBeal@aol.com or text 301-648-3556 if you want to go. Then, stay tuned for more information.

Food Drive - Next Sunday August 15  from 1-2 pm
The Food Drive this month will be held a week from this Sunday on August 15 from 1-2 pm in the church parking lot.  If you attend services in person on that Sunday morning, you can drop off donations in the narthex, we ask that you put them in bags or boxes. The collection benefits The Bowie Food Pantry. At this time they are in need of toilet paper, low sugar cereal, canned meats, dry goods - rice, instant potatoes, suddenly pasta salad, stuffing, canned fruit/applesauce.  Please remember they do not accept expired food. The Justice League is very thankful for your continued support. If needed, please contact Peggy Alexander at peggyalexander28@gmail.com

If you're interested please let Michael Mangiapane  know at   theblackdog@gmail.com as soon as possible as he's gauging interest from the parish.
