VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SATURDAY SANDWICH MAKING FOR WARM NIGHTS
We are happy to announce that St. George’s Sandwich Ministry has received a grant of $2,616 from the Brotherhood of St. Gregory, the community of Brother Ed Munro. Many thanks to this wonderful organization for providing assistance to St. George’s Justice League to continue the sandwich making ministry. We want to keep this ministry going and provide sandwiches for the homeless guests of Warm Nights but we need your support! Please volunteer to help make sandwiches on Saturday mornings from 9:30 – 10:30 and/or donate bottled water for the lunches. Sign up here: Sandwich Ministry Outdoor Service Sunday May 2 at 5pm St. George’s is offering an Outdoor Service of Holy Communion on Sunday May 2. It will be held at 5 pm in St. George’s churchyard/cemetery. Preregistration is required. Remember to bring a chair to sit in, wear your masks and social distance. |
