Warm Nights Sandwich Making
As you heard on Sunday, we are continuing to make 100 lunches each month for the guests in Warm Nights. We will be making sandwiches on Saturday, April 8 at 9 AM, and can use a few more sandwich makers. There are also opportunities to help in May and June. You can sign up here to help.

Gaywood Volunteers Needed to shop for food.
Gaywood Elementary School, a public school serving pre-K through 5th grade, is located about two miles from St. George’s. One of the ways we support Gaywood is through a food program which began in February 2017. This program provides support for Gaywood families who have been identified by school staff members as having critical food needs. During Covid we provided grocery gift cards only, but we would like to go back to a combination of grocery gift cards and boxes of food. However, in order to do so, we need a critical mass of parishioners who are willing to volunteer in some capacity: buying groceries, packing boxes on Sunday morning, and/or delivering boxes to Gaywood. In particular, we need volunteers who are willing to shop for one or more families periodically throughout the year; a shopping list and gift cards are provided. If this work sounds interesting or rewarding to you, we invite you to get involved in any aspect of the program that your schedule allows. This program is an important part of our outreach ministry but it only works if we have a critical mass of volunteers.  Please contact Donna Haselton after any 10:00 am service or at dlhaselton@msn.com to volunteer or for additional information.

Come Make Prayer Beads as a Lenten Practice Today March 26
Sunday March 26 at 11:30 am there will be a prayer bead making workshop in the Narthex. The church will provide the beads - all we need is you to put the sets of beads together! No experience is necessary and there are folks who will help walk you through it. These sets will be available to those who would like them as a devotional practice and will also stock the church supply of prayer beads to give out. They are also a lovely devotional to use during Holy Week. If you would like to have a set of prayer beads, please let Connie+ know.
