Eucharistic Visitor Training This Monday, July 22
On July 22 at 6:30 pm a training will be offered for Eucharistic Visitors. These are lay people who bring the sacrament to those who are unable to attend services in person. If interested, please speak with Connie+.

Come Have Dinner and Talk About Your Favorite Scripture Verse July 24
You are invited! Wednesday, July 24 at 6 pm there will be a gathering at a parishioner's house in Glenn Dale. We will enjoy food and fellowship - and scripture! Each person who comes should be ready to share your favorite verse of scripture and why it is meaningful to you. There is a sign up sheet on the credenza at church or email the office HERE if you'd like to participate.

The St. George's Youth Group Post-Trip Dinner is July 28
You can still support the youth group by buying tickets to the report back dinner on July 28 at 5 pm to hear stories and experiences of their mission trip to Savannah, Georgia. Tickets are $15. Additionally, raffle tickets are on sale for $10 to win dinner for eight with Bishop Mariann at her home. The raffle winner will be drawn at the post-trip dinner. Thank you for your support!

St. George's Game Night returns August 9
It's time for another casual game night at St. George's! On Friday, August 9 at 7 pm, come by the church with a snack or drink to share and a favorite board or card game. Parishioners are invited to choose a game to play from everything brought in, and you can stay for as long or short as you'd like. Join us for this casual, free event for a night of fun with friends and family!

Bowie Baysox Game August 24
St. George’s has a reserved block of box seat tickets, at $13 per ticket, for the Baysox game against the Erie SeaWolves on Saturday, August 24 at 6:35 pm. There will be fireworks after the game that night. If you would like to join for some fun, fellowship, and baseball, contact Roy Peterson HERE. There is a sign-up sheet on the credenza at church as well.

Parish Picnic September 15
St. George's Annual Picnic will take place Sunday, September 15 following the 10 am worship service! The location will be at Highbridge Park in Bowie (6800 Highbridge Rd, about 8 minutes by car from the church). The church will provide sandwiches and some games; please bring a side, dessert, or drinks to share, along with your favorite yard game! Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking. For more information, please speak to Christine Bloecker or Tasha Tobias.
