Fruit Needed for Warm Night Summer Camp This Sunday
Thank you for the many generous donations in support of the lunches for the Summer Camp at Warm Nights. The only thing we need for our second week of lunches are bags of apples or mandarins. We need a total of 120 apples/ mandarins. Please bring them in this Sunday. Any questions, please contact Peggy Alexander HERE.

Potato and Onion Sunday, August 10
On Sunday, August 10, we are asking folks to bring in potatoes or onions again. St. Georgians have sent hundreds of pounds of potatoes and onions in June and July, let’s keep it up in August! St. Matthew’s, one of our neighboring Episcopal churches, has a monthly food pantry that serves over 200 families each month. Along with non-perishable necessities, they give out produce as available - which is where St. George's comes in. To support this need of our neighbors, we are working to be the "potato and onion" church on the Sunday before the second Thursday of each month.

Gaywood Uniform Drive
We are again holding a uniform drive to assist students at Gaywood Elementary School. Gaywood's mandatory uniform policy may present a financial challenge to the families of students. Now through August 17, they are asking for donations of the following items: Polo shirts, short or long-sleeve, in light blue, white, or navy blue (solid color); Jumpers, skirts, skorts in navy blue (solid); Sweaters in any color (solid); Pants, basic "chino" style, and shorts in navy blue; Socks in white, black, or navy blue (solid). Sizes XS to XL (Students are pre-K to 5th grade). Please see the flyer on the credenza for more details!
