Bowie Food Pantry Collection Sunday, August 11
This month they have asked us for low sugar cereals, canned fruit, applesauce, peanut butter, and jelly. Additionally, if your garden has been very productive this summer, the pantry would love to have any extra fruits or vegetables. Everything that is donated is brought to the Bowie Food Pantry on Monday morning, so it could be distributed very quickly if you are worried about fresh fruits or vegetables. Once again, thank you for your continuing support of the Bowie Food Pantry. Please bring your donations to church on Sunday, August 11.

Welcome Rev. Sarah on August 4 and 11
This Sunday we welcome back to St. George’s the Rev. Sarah Motley. Rev. Sarah is a familiar face to many at St. George's; she was ordained in 1979 and has served in a wide variety of settings. In the Diocese of Washington, she served as Associate Rector at Grace Church, Georgetown until her retirement in 2020.

St. George's Game Night returns Next Friday, August 9
It's time for another casual game night at St. George's! On Friday, August 9 at 7 pm, come by the church with a snack or drink to share and a favorite board or card game. Parishioners are invited to choose a game to play from everything brought in, and you can stay for as long or short as you'd like. Join us for this casual, free event for a night of fun with friends and family!
