Potato and Onion Sunday This Sunday
This Sunday is the next potato and onion collection for Saint Matthew’s! Our donation provides food for 200 families so we need to ensure that no food is wasted due to spoilage. Additionally, we need people to load and deliver the potatoes and onions to St. Matthew’s on Wednesday, December 10. Drivers meet at St. George’s at 9 am to load and deliver the food. There is a sign up sheet in the narthex to volunteer. Thanks for your support and help!

Bring your Baby Jesus in to be Blessed on December 14
On Sunday, December 14 we will be blessing the baby Jesus! If you have a nativity set and would like to have the Jesus figure blessed, bring him up at the time of birthday blessings for a special prayer. All Jesuses are welcome.

Christmas Pageant - Call for Performers
Our Christmas pageant/skit will be during the 5 pm service on Christmas Eve. We are looking for 7 or more performers (speaking and non-speaking roles) to join the cast. “Backstage” volunteers welcome. If you/your family are in the area for Christmas this year and interested in participating in the pageant, please sign up on the sign up sheet in the narthex. Angels of the Bible Advent Program
This Advent and Epiphany we use Angels of the Bible: Finding Grace, Beauty and Meaning by Kate Moorehead with Scott Brown to explore scriptural and artistic depictions of these messengers of God we call angels. We meet Monday nights at 7:00 pm on Zoom HERE on December 8, 15, January 5, 12, 19, 26, and February 2.
