Bowie Food Pantry Collection This Sunday
This month they have asked us for low sugar cereals, canned fruit, applesauce, peanut butter, and jelly. Additionally, if your garden has been very productive this summer, the pantry would love to have any extra fruits or vegetables. Everything that is donated is brought to the Bowie Food Pantry on Monday morning, so it could be distributed very quickly if you are worried about fresh fruits or vegetables. Once again, thank you for your continuing support of the Bowie Food Pantry.

Gaywood Uniform Drive
Gaywood’s mandatory uniform policy for all students is a financial challenge for some Gaywood families. To assist, we are holding a uniform drive from now until August 18 asking for donations of the following items:
Polo shirts
Light blue, white, or navy blue (solid color)
Short or long-sleeve
Jumpers, skirts, skorts
Navy blue (solid)
Sweaters
Any color (solid)
Pants and shorts
Navy blue
Basic “chino” style (NO flared pants, spandex, sweatpants, corduroy, jeans, or cargo pants)
Sizes
XS to XL (Students are pre-K to 5th grade)

The full Gaywood uniform policy is HERE.
Where to buy: Uniforms are available at many retailers, in store and/or online, including Target, The Children’s Place, Amazon, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Macy’s, Walmart, and Lands’ End. Some popular uniform brands are Cat & Jack (at Target), The Children’s Place (at The Children’s Place and on Amazon), and French Toast.
Please note that clothing in Maryland will be tax free this week starting today through Saturday!
Drop off: Donations should be dropped off at St George's by Sunday, August 18 so we can deliver them to Gaywood before school starts on August 26; you can also contact Donna Haselton HERE to make other arrangements or if you have questions. Thank you for supporting the students and families of Gaywood!

Welcome Rev. Sarah on August 4 and 11
